One of my big goals this year was to become better at divination. I’ve spent a lot of the year learning more about tarot, but I’ve spent just as much time learning about numerology. Tarot will always be my first love for divination—and you’ll definitely want to check out my guide to the best tarot books while you’re here—but I feel rejuvenated by my numerology studies. Studying numerology has freshened up not only my tarot readings, but the way I see and process the world we live in. Today on the blog, I’m giving you my picks for the best books on numerology. If you’re interested in beginning to learn numerology, the books here provide you with This list of the best numerology books includes some of my personal favorites, some hidden gems, and some must-read books about numerology.

The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Numerology by Jean Simpson

For a basic introduction to numerology, and if you’re absolutely new to numerology, it’s hard to go wrong with The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Numerology by Jean Simpson for an introduction. This book provides a comprehensive yet still beginner-friendly guide on how to learn numerology. One thing that I really like about this book is how it includes all the possible combinations of your Destiny Number, Soul Number, and Personality Number so you can find out how those numbers synthesize into your personality reading.

The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Numerology also goes over the power of the alphabet and helps you calculate key numbers like the elements within your name and the progression of letters in your name. This book also includes advanced numerology factors like triad numbers, pinnacles, and personal days, months, and years.

Best of all, this book is continually updated, so the references it makes to notable people and events aren’t out of date like some older titles.

The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Numerology Workbook by Patricia Kirkman and Katherine Gleason

The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Numerology Workbook by Patricia Kirkman and Katherine A. Gleason

An excellent accompaniament to The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Numerology is The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Numerology Workbook. While I wouldn’t say that numerology is a field where you have to really know math, it’s true that the art of numerology requires calculating many numbers, essences, and projections. Fortunately, you can easily compute your numerology factors and complete them in one place with this user-friendly workbook.

But this book is definitely not light on insight. You’ll also learn how to synthesize the various components into readings and divinatory projections. It’s a pretty incredible book that’ll teach you all you need to know about how to practice numerology.

You learn numerology advanced methods like how to integrate the well-known numbers and those that are under the radar. As a result, you’ll fast become a pro at how to pull it all together and see the big picture.

Goodwin’s book is actually written in two parts, the second part being concerned with forecasting the future using numerology. Only the first volume is still in print, and that’s the one I’m linking to here on Amazon. However, even if it might cost a little more and take a little longer, I strongly urge you to track down and purchse the second volume, which goes over numerology for divinatory prediction readings. I own it and it was well worth the effort and extra money.
